Contract signed to work on the regeneration of Zhouqiao Old Streets Community in Jiading, Shanghai

On October 14, 2019, Evering Consulting signed contract with the Shanghai Jiading Zhouqiao Scenic Area Operation Management Company to provide consulting services for the regeneration of the central area of Zhouqiao Ancient Town in Jiading District, Shanghai. This is a new iconic project of Evering in the field of regeneration of ancient town or historical community, following the Beijing Shen-Sha-Hai Historical and Cultural Reserve Zone, Longxing Ancient Town in Liangjiang New District of city of Chongqing, Shaxi Old Town in Dali of Yunnan Province, and Lijiang Ancient Town in Yunnan Province.

Jiading Zhouqiao Ancient Town is located in the center of Jiading district, Shanghai. It is one of the most charming old towns in Shanghai, rich of Chinese traditional culture. Within a thousand steps, ancient tower, old streets and temples, and famous classic gardens of Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties are brought together. It is rare in China. With a total area of 49.10 hectares, it is currently a national AAAA-level scenic area.
